PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotation angle sensor reducing the length in the axial center direction without using a rotary transformer coil. SOLUTION: In a resolver including a resolver stator 13 including an excitation coil 23 to which an excitation signal is input and detection coils 21, 22 outputting detection signals and a rotating resolver rotor 12 located at a position opposed to the resolver stator 13, nonmagnetic electric conductor parts 41A and magnetic body parts 42 are alternately formed at positions of the resolver rotor 12 opposed to the resolver stator 13.
