The method involves applying a material (12) on the upper surface area of the blade (10) by an additive manufacturing process. The stereolithography process, the selective laser sintering process, a laser generating process or a coating process, particularly a cold gas spraying process is used as an additive manufacturing process. An independent claim is also included for a blade formed as moving blade.
