PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a cosmetic sponge containing charcoal is provided to prevent the generation of mold and microorganisms on the cosmetic sponge by the effect of charcoal. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing a cosmetic sponge containing charcoal is as follows. A mixed solution is prepared by mixing water, a neutralizing agent, a mordant, a foaming agent, an emulsifying agent, and glycerin(100). Charcoal and Konjac powder are mixed with the mixed solution using an agitator(200). The raw material is formed into a predetermined shape in a mold(300). The mold is maintained for 5~20 hours at 20~30°C to age the raw material(400). The raw materials is heated for 1~5 hours with the steam in a steam heater and formed into a sponge shape(500). The sponge is cooled for 1~2 hours to 20~25°C(600). The sponge is rapidly cooled in a freezer for 2~4 hours(700). The sponge is frozen in the freezer for 3~4 days(800). The sponge is thawed and the water, the neutralizing agent, the mordant, the foaming agent, the emulsifying agent, and the glycerin are removed through water leak phenomena(900). The sponge is frozen and thawed secondly(1000,1100). The sponge is treated in a container filled with an antimicrobial agent and dehydrated(1200). The sponge is packed as containing moisture(1300).
