<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic electroluinescent element which can improve electric characteristics of wiring in the outside of a light-emitting region; and to provide a method for manufacturing the organic electroluinescent element. <P>SOLUTION: The organic electroluminescent element includes: a substrate having a pad portion; a transistor formed in a light-emitting region of the substrate; wiring 4d formed in a non-emission region of the substrate; insulating films 5, 7, 9 formed on the substrate and the transistor in such a manner as to expose a part of the wiring; a first electrode 10 formed on the insulating films 5, 7, 9 in the light-emitting region; a light-emitting layer 15 formed on the first electrode; and a second electrode 16 formed on the light-emitting layer and the wiring 4d. The wiring 4d electrically contacts to the second electrode 16 directly and electrically connects the pad portion and the second electrode 16 to each other in the non-emission region. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
