<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an unskilled person to ship commodities correctly. <P>SOLUTION: When a shipping worker scans a shipping order barcode in a picking list with use of a barcode reading section 74 on a handy terminal 7, a CPU 711 runs a shipping work support program stored in a storage section 712 to display a picking start screen for prompting the operator to read an identification barcode of a shipping tag printer, on a display 72. When the identification barcode of the shipping tag printer is read, the shipping tag printer prints a shipping tag containing at least a management information barcode for each commodity. Then, when the management information barcode of the shipping tag is read, information on deposit place where the commodities are deposited is displayed on the display 72, and a deposit place barcode provided to the place where the commodities are deposited is read.
