PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polymer coating which can avoid the blooming even at a high level in the blend with benzotriazole.

SOLUTION: The coating on a plastic article is permitted with the polymerizable composition which comprises a vinyl-functional, crosslinkable film-forming agent, a large amount of benzotriazole, and a copolymerizable monomer that solubilizes the benzotriazole. The cured composition helps protect the article from ultraviolet ray exposure and other outdoor effects.
