PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a termite-proof structure of a building which can surely protect a framework, a floor framing and the like from insect damage by termites without polluting the environment in a building, and a building having the structure. SOLUTION: In the termite-proof structure of a building which prevents a termite 5 from entering into an under-floor space 6 by closing the outside of a joint 4 between a foundation slab 2 in a mat foundation 1 of a building A and an outer peripheral rising portion 3 erected so as to extend in the circumferential direction from the outer periphery of the upper surface of the foundation slab 2 positioned higher than the ground surface of the peripheral area by a termite-proof sheet 7, the outside of the joint 4 is closed by bonding the termite-proof sheet 7 to the outer peripheral rising portion 3 and the outer peripheral surface of the foundation slab 2 so that the cross-section of the termite-proof sheet 7 is made flat.
