PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hanging implement for displaying merchandise, which is highly effectively prevented from coming off from a long slit of a header and is attached to even the header mounted with the merchandise. SOLUTION: A base part 3 on the lower side of a hook portion 2 includes: a center part 4; right and left shoulder parts 5, 5 elastically connected to the center part 4 via right and left flexible bodies 6, 6; and hook shape lock pieces 8, 8 which are provided in a projecting manner at horizontal-direction inner ends of the upper surface 5B, 5B of the shoulder portions, and which are extended upward and also outward in the horizontal so that engagement recessions 8A, 8A with which the slit side right and left end edges 13, 13 of upper surface paper sheet 11 are engaged are formed on the outer side in the horizontal direction while the hanging implement is attached to the header 10. The upper surfaces 5B, 5B of the shoulder portion are positioned higher toward the outer sides in the horizontal direction when the flexible bodies 6, 6 are in a free state. The further downward rocking of the shoulder portions 5, 5 is restricted where the right and left shoulder portions 5, 5 are swung downward from the free state and the flexible bodies 6, 6 are elastically deformed so as to allow the upper surfaces 5B, 5B to be substantially horizontal.
