PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thunder resistant fastener, a cap, a fastener member and an installation method of the thunder resistant fastener, which enhance the safety of a machine body and reduces a manufacturing cost by improving work efficiency and qualitative stability after surely securing insulation performance. SOLUTION: A head part cap 50 is provided at the head 25b of a fastener body 25, and a shaft cap 30 is provided at the shaft 25s of the fastener body 25, to thereby restrain the occurrence of arc discharge from a fastener member 24 on a direct attack of thunder and the falling of a thunderbolt to the fastener member 24. A hole 52 is also formed at the head cap 50, and a screw groove 52a is formed in this hole 52, so that the head cap 50 can be surely and easily positioned and installed in the fastener member 24, surely preventing the falling-off of the head cap 50 even after installation.
