PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote air conditioning system that can be installed later relatively easily. SOLUTION: When the information indicating an air conditioner operation request by a remote control operation using a regular electronic key 23 are acquired by an add-on ECU 70, an engine start request signal is outputted from the add-on ECU 70, and the information about the engine start request are acquired by a power management ECU 10, thereby satisfying the air conditioner operation condition. On this occasion, the air conditioner can be operated as one of vehicle controls by the power management ECU 10 and a power control unit 60. Therefore, the later installation works with respect to standard equipment not originally including the remote air conditioning system 1 are limited to addition of the add-on ECU 70, and simple wiring and the like to ensure the necessary electrical path for ouputting the engine start request signal from the add-on ECU 70.
