PURPOSE: A method for controlling a display apparatus and a client terminal is provided to enable a user to instinctively access desired information. CONSTITUTION: A display unit(230) indicates image based on a broadcast signal which is processed by a signal processing unit. A storage(250) stores a viewing history related to a client terminal. If the client terminal is connected, a controller(260) transmits remote UI information corresponding to the client terminal to the client terminal through a communication part(240). The controller receives broadcast signal by the user input which is received from the client terminal and displays the broadcast signal.
