摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous lithium type electricity storage element having both a small time constant and small self-discharge. <P>SOLUTION: A composite porous carbon material or non-graphitizable carbon material having a carbonaceous material on the surface of active carbon is used for a main constituent of a negative electrode active material constituting a negative electrode active material layer, and active carbon is used for a main constituent of a positive electrode active material constituting a positive electrode active material layer. This nonaqueous lithium type electricity storage element is structured such that an edge rate (L/S) being a ratio of the total length L (cm) of an visible outline in a plan view to a plane area S (cm<SP>2</SP>) of the negative electrode active material layer satisfies 0.10<L/S<1.00. As an electricity storage module including a plurality of electricity storage elements, for instance, the edge rate of the electricity storage module (a) with six electricity storage elements 10 arranged in a rectangular solid in the height direction of the rectangular solid is smaller than that of the electricity storage module (b) with six electricity storage elements 11 arranged in the bottom face of the rectangular solid in the same rectangular solid, whereby self-discharge can be reduced. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
