<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an impact surface wall with a favorable geometric structure that has superior performance, desirable endurance, and enhanced production efficiency while lowering manufacturing cost. <P>SOLUTION: A golf club head can include a face part 107 with a top inner boundary, which is the impact surface wall 106, an intermediate inner boundary, and a bottom inner boundary that has a tow part 103 of the bottom inner boundary and a heel part 105 of the bottom inner boundary. An impact face further can include a first even thickness region neighboring to the top inner boundary, and a variable thickness region neighboring to a large part of the first even thickness region and the bottom inner boundary.
