<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polycarboxylic acid resin that forms a cured coating film having excellent adhesion to various kinds of materials and excellent heat resistance and exhibits excellent developability, sensitivity and solvent resistance when mixed with an organic colorant such as pigment or dye. <P>SOLUTION: The polycarboxylic acid resin is obtained by reacting a straight-chain addition polymer (A) obtained by reacting one or more epoxy resins (a) containing two glycidyl groups with one or more dibasic acids (b) represented by formula (1): HOOC-R'-COOH (wherein R' is 2-8C alkylene, hydroxyalkylene, alkenylene, cycloalkylene or cycloalkenylene) having carbon atoms of ≥4 and ≤10 and one or more ethylenically unsaturated monocarboxylic acids (c) with one or more polybasic acid anhydrides (d) and one or more ethylenic unsaturated double bond-containing isocyanates (e). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
