<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a green-colored composition for a color filter, which achieves both oblique visibility and high brightness of a liquid crystal display device, to provide a color filer formed by using the composition, and to provide a liquid crystal display device equipped with the color filter and having both oblique visibility and high brightness. <P>SOLUTION: The green-colored composition for a color filter includes: a pigment containing C.I.Pigment Green 58 and C.I.Pigment Green 36 in a weight ratio of 99:1 to 35:65; a transparent resin, a solvent and a photo-crosslinking agent. The retardation value Rth in the thickness direction, represented by the formula below, of a green colored layer formed by the green-colored composition for a color filter is -15 to +15 nm. In the formula, Rth=ä(Nx+Ny)/2-Nz}×d, Nx represents refractive index in x-direction in the xy plane of a colored pixel layer, Ny represents refractive index in y-direction in the xy plane of a colored pixel layer, Nz represents refractive index in the thickness direction of the colored pixel layer, and d represents the thickness (mm) of the colored pixel layer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
