<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for readily creating a model animal of myocardial infarction by which a large infarction site is obtained stably at a low case fatality rate, and which is utilizable for a study lasting for a long period. <P>SOLUTION: The method for creating the model animal of the myocardial infarction includes (i) a step for measuring the cardiac function of an animal of a treatment object before the treatment, (ii) a step for selecting an individual of which the cardiac function measured at the step (i) is a standard cardiac function, and (iii) a step for gradually reducing the blood flow of the coronary arteries of the individual selected at the step (ii). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
