<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle floor tray which is vacuum-molded from a multiextruded thermoplastic polymer sheet such that it has high shear and tensile strength, an acceptable degree of stiffness and a high coefficient of friction on its upper surface, wherein the floor tray has deep vertical faces. <P>SOLUTION: The vehicle floor tray 1500 having the deep side faces 1510-1516 is vacuum-molded from the multiextruded thermoplastic polymer sheet such that it has, the acceptable degree of stiffness and the high coefficient of friction on its upper surface 1504. The floor tray design is digitally fitted to a foot well of a particular model of vehicle such that even after a reservoir 1522 is built into a composition at least 90% of the lower surface 1502 of the tray is no more than 1/4 of an inch from a digitally acquired model of the foot well surface when the digitally acquired model of the foot well is superimposed to the composition. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
