PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain errors due to adhesion in a lens unit composed of multiple sheets of optical elements. SOLUTION: A first group unit 2 is formed by connecting a plurality of optical elements 21, 22 and 23 having holding parts 212, 222 and 232 in lens parts 211, 221 and 231 which form an optical path. In this case, an adhesive 28 is applied to the adhesive-applying faces 212d, 222d; 222e; and 232e of the holding parts 212, 222 and 232, and, when they are mutually bonded, groove parts 212f; 222f, 222g; and 232g are formed between the contacting faces 212b; 222b, 222c; and 232c, which stipulate the intervals of the optical elements 21, 22 and 23, and the adhesive-applying faces 212d, 222d; 222e; and 232e. Accordingly, when the optical elements are pressed, the excessive adhesive flows into the groove parts 212f; 222f, 222g; and 232g as shown by a reference code 28a, and the adhesive 28 is prevented from protruding out to the contacting faces 212b; 222b, 222c; and 232c.
