PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dentifrice composition exhibiting excellent bactericidal effects on a biofilm and floating bacteria in the oral cavity, effectively sterilizing pathogenic bacteria in the oral cavity, reducing a peculiar unpleasant taste derived from isopropylmethylphenol, and having excellent feeling of use with little irritation to a mucous membrane in the oral cavity. SOLUTION: The dentifrice composition includes: (A) the isopropylmethylphenol; (B) triclosan; (C) a pyrophosphate and/or a tripolyphosphate; and (D) at least one perfume ingredient selected from among 3-octanol, 3-octyl acetate, 3-octanone, and fenchone. In the dentifrice composition, the amount of the formulated ingredient (C) is 0.10-2.0 mass%. Furthermore, (E) anisaldehyde is formulated in the composition. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
