PURPOSE: A screw pump is provided to transfer a large amount of water, which flowed from a pump station, a sewage disposal plant, and a water-taking place, to a high level processing place. CONSTITUTION: A main shaft(1) of a screw pump is placed within an inclined waterway(80). The upstream end of the main shaft is arranged inside a lower water way(81), and the downstream of the main shaft is placed over an upper water way. A spiral outer blade(2) is expanded in the longitudinal direction of the main shaft and is fixed on the outer surface of the main shaft. A deflector is installed on the left and right sides of the inclined waterway and covers the overflow of the water. Both ends of the main shaft are rotatably supported by a lower bearing and an upper bearing. The main shaft is connected to a drive unit(6) through a coupling(5). |
