<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new composition for dieting, capable of easily reducing meal intake without feeling any mental stress. <P>SOLUTION: The composition for dieting is characterized in containing potato extract. A dieting method is also provided which includes the step of taking in the composition before meal to effect reducing meal levels.
