<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for improving the operation efficiency of a user who uses a printing device while suppressing useless power consumption in the printing device, compared with in the past. <P>SOLUTION: The printing system 10 includes an information processing apparatus 200 and a printing device 100. The information processing apparatus 200 includes a print data creation part (201) which creates print data printable by the printing device 100, and transmits the print data with power-saving shift information for instructing a time for shifting to a power-saving state being added thereto to the printing device 100.
