PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an in-vehicle electronic apparatus which warns a driver when approaching a vehicle to be noticed. SOLUTION: Information on a license plate to be compared is stored in advance in a database 19, information on a license plate of another vehicle is extracted from video data captured by an outside camera 23, the extracted information of the license plate of the other vehicle is compared with the information of the compared license plate stored in the database 19, and whether to issue a warning is determined on the basis of the compared result. A warning is issued by a control part 18 that displays a warning screen on a display part 5, or reads out voice data stored in the database 19 and outputs a warning voice from a speaker 20, or turns on a warning lamp 6.
