PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a hook portion of a stitch needle from catching a thread loop of a preceding sewing cycle. SOLUTION: A plurality of holes 241 are formed in a passage forming plate 24. The hook portion 161 of the stitch needle 16 entering and leaving the holes 241 is opened to the transfer direction R side of a preform 11. A plurality of support pins 25 are raised and fastened to the top face of the passage forming plate 24, and a wire spring 26 is fastened to each support pin 25. The wire spring 26 is extended from the transfer direction R side toward the opposite side to the transfer direction R, and a thread regulating portion 261 is formed at the tip of the wire spring 26 by bending at an obtuse angle. The thread regulating portion 261 as the thread regulator crosses the holes 241 toward the opposite side to the transfer direction R from the transfer direction R side, when viewed in the vertical direction.
