PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sort out regular tokens and to prevent unfair practice. SOLUTION: A token selector for sorting out regular tokens from irregular tokens having diameter smaller than that of the regular tokens includes: an upstream side passage where charged tokens pass; a downstream side passage for regular tokens and a downstream side passage for irregular tokens, which are branched from the upstream side passage; a regular token detector for detecting regular tokens passing through the upstream side passage; a sorter which has a sorting part placed at a branching point of the upstream side passage and the downstream side passage for regular tokens and the downstream side passage for irregular tokens and is configured to guide tokens passing the upstream side passage to the downstream side passage for regular tokens or the downstream side passage for irregular tokens by displacing the sorting part on the basis of the result of detection of the regular token detector; and a passing token detector which is provided in the downstream side passage for regular tokens and detects tokens passing through the downstream side passage for regular tokens.
