PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coaster which reliably prevents wobbling or falling of a glass or the like during use. SOLUTION: The coaster is made from neoprene (foamed rubber). At the center of a coaster body 10, a retaining through hole 11 for tightly retaining the glass or the like is provided. The retaining through hole 11 is formed to be smaller in diameter than the outer diameter of the bottom of the glass 2 or the like, when the glass 2 or the like is inserted into the retaining through hole 11, and a part of the coaster body 10 in contact with the glass 2 or the like is compressed to deform the cross-section into an umbrella shape. The coaster body 10 tightly retaining the glass 2 or the like is pressed against a table to be sucked, while deformed into the umbrella shape. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
