PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an earthquake restoring and diagnosing operation device of an elevator capable of avoiding a failure accompanying an earthquake restoring and diagnosing operation. SOLUTION: This earthquake restoring and diagnosing operation device includes a diagnosing operation setting means for setting priority of a plurality of elevators 30 and 31 to perform the earthquake restoring and diagnosing operation for each of the elevators 30 and 31, a diagnosing operation command means for outputting a diagnosing operation starting command to start the earthquake restoring and diagnosing operation for each of the elevators 30 and 31 according to the priority set in the diagnosing operation setting means, and a diagnosing operation stopping means for outputting a diagnosing operation stopping command to stop the earthquake restoring and diagnosing operation of a specified elevator detected with an abnormality by the earthquake restoring and diagnosing operation started by receiving the diagnosing operation starting command, of the plurality of elevators 30 and 31, and to stop starting of the earthquake restoring and diagnosing operation of the elevator with lower priority than that of the specified elevator.
