<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base for a solar cell useful to manufacture a solar cell that has a surface capable of obtaining light confinement effect and exhibiting superior photoelectric conversion efficiency when used as a base of a thin-film solar cell. <P>SOLUTION: The base for the solar cell comprises a base film made of a thermoplastic crystalline resin and a coating layer provided on at least one surface thereof and containing inert particles, the coating layer having a center-surface mean surface roughness Ra of 1-150 nm and a mean interval S of 100-2.500 nm at a local peak of the surface. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
