PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an excellent communication state by flexibly changing an antenna configuration. SOLUTION: As a physical configuration of a plurality of antennas, a physical distance between the respective antennas and the polarization direction of signals transmitted and received by the respective antennas are specified, and the combination of the antennas to be used is selected on the basis of the specified result. Alternatively, reception quality is detected for each of two or more kinds of antenna combinations, and the combination of the antennas to be used is selected according to the comparison result of the detected reception qualities. When there are a plurality of signal processing circuits for processing the signals to be transmitted and received according to the plurality of antennas, power supply to the circuit which is not used is stopped on the basis of the selected antenna combination. Alternatively, by using the antenna which is not selected and the signal processing circuit corresponding to the antenna, a setting value for performing communication with a specified communication object or another communication object is acquired.
