The wound dressing comprises a) a first layer having a first side and a second side and comprising a water-containing hydrogel matrix, and b) at least one second layer having a first side and a second side and comprising a hydrophilic polymer foam, wherein the polymer foam comprises a water fraction of at least 10% by weight of water.
