COMMUNICATION SYSTEM, COMMUNICATION APPARATUS AND TIME SYNCHRONIZATION METHOD

A communication system comprises a plurality of communication apparatuses and uses time synchronization frames to perform time synchronization. One of the communication apparatuses serves as a start node, while one or more of the communication apparatuses serve as end nodes. The start node generates a time synchronization frame of go direction and transmits this time synchronization frame in the go direction. Each end node generates a time synchronization frame of return direction and transmits this time synchronization frame in the return direction. Each in-between node, upon receipt of the time synchronization frame transmitted in the go or return direction, relays the received time synchronization frame.
