The vehicle seat (10) has front actuating levers (20,20') and rear actuating levers (22,22'), where the front actuating levers are provided for releasing a seat longitudinal adjustment of the vehicle seat. The front actuating levers are arranged in front area of the vehicle seat. A smooth operation of the front actuating levers is operated by a bowden cable mechanism (24) that is arranged between the front and rear actuating levers.
