<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flame-retardant resin composition which can secure excellent mechanical characteristics and flame retardance, and further can satisfy severe heat resistance requirement such as heat resistance requisite to the resin in contact with a conductor, and also an insulated electric wire, a flat cable, and a molded article using the same. <P>SOLUTION: The flame-retardant resin composition includes a thermoplastic resin, a polyfunctional monomer and an organophosphorus flame retardant. The thermoplastic resin contains at least 5 mass%, relative to the total amount of the thermoplastic resin, of either a resin having a carbon-carbon unsaturated bond or a resin having carbonyl group, and the organophosphorus flame retardant is at least one compound selected from the group consisting of metal phosphinates, melamine phosphate compounds, ammonium phosphate compounds, and polyphosphazene compounds prepared by ring-opening polymerization of cyclophosphazenes. The content of the organophosphorus flame retardant is 5-100 pts.mass per 100 pts.mass of the thermoplastic resin, and the content of the polyfunctional monomer is 1-20 pts.mass per 100 pts.mass of the thermoplastic resin. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
