<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-emitting element drive circuit system making respective light-emitting elements emit light by small consumption currents based on an emission period for circulating the light emission of a plurality of light-emitting elements, and to provide a portable telephone including the light-emitting element drive circuit system. <P>SOLUTION: In the light-emitting element drive circuit system, a plurality of current paths where the light-emitting elements are connected in series with switching elements subjected to on/off-control to make the light-emitting elements emit light are disposed in parallel. In the light-emitting element drive circuit system, an on-time of each switching element is adjusted so that the number of switching times of the respective switching elements is decreased based on the emission period for circulating the light emission of the respective light-emitting elements. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
