<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a furniture having a thin illumination device. <P>SOLUTION: By means of arranging an LED 11 on the side face of an acrylic resin plate and applying a slit 12c and a mat face on an incident face of LED light of the acrylic resin plate, the end face of the acrylic resin plate orthogonally positioned against the LED incident face can be made to emit light.
