<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a telephone exchange system capable of counting the number of times of call terminations indicating the history of the call termination to respective telephone terminals regardless of the time of being on the phone, handset detachment or a fault or the like, and displaying the history of the call termination from a calling opposite party on the telephone terminal before the transmission of calling signals when a call is terminated to the telephone terminal. <P>SOLUTION: The phone call termination control unit 21B of the communication device B 20B counts the total number of times of the call termination and the number of times of the call termination by communication type indicating the items of a call termination operation as call termination history data 21B by telephone terminal B 30B of a slave unit. When a call is terminated from a certain calling opposite unit to the telephone terminal B 30B, prior to the operation of transmitting a calling signal to the telephone terminal, the call termination history data 21B of the telephone terminal are retrieved, the call termination history data of the calling opposite unit who has terminated a call to the telephone terminal are extracted, and when the telephone terminal is in a free state, it is transmitted to the telephone terminal and displayed at the display device 31B of the telephone terminal.
