PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means for rotating a wire in a circumferential direction by a simple device, aiming at uniformizing abrasion in the wire circumferential direction, in a multi-saw machine for cutting a workpiece by traveling the wire. SOLUTION: At least one roller not perpendicular to a traveling direction of the wire while crossing to it is provided at a position where it is made contact with the wire at an upstream side in the wire traveling direction than a slice part where the wire is made contact with the workpiece. Alternatively, the rollers are provided at positions opposed to each other with respect to the wire, the angles formed by the traveling direction of the wire and axes of the rollers are the same and the rollers are provided in a direction different from each other, thus giving rotation to the wire.
