PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a liquid crystal display device that prevents decrease of yield ratio of the device. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing a liquid crystal panel 100 (the liquid crystal display device) includes: a step of laminating a TFT substrate 101 for holding a liquid crystal layer 31 with a CF substrate 102; and a step of forming a barrier pattern 40 of a direct parallax barrier pattern on a surface opposite to a side that holds the liquid crystal layer 31 of the CF substrate 102.
