摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an evaporator capable of preventing increase in passage resistance in a second space within a refrigerant inlet header part, uniformizing a split flow of a refrigerant from the refrigerant inlet header part to heat exchange pipes and suppressing rapid increase in discharge air temperature when a compressor is turned off. SOLUTION: The evaporator 1 includes the refrigerant inlet header part 5 and the plurality of heat exchange pipes 16 having upper ends connected to the refrigerant inlet header part 5. Inside of the refrigerant inlet header part 5 is divided by a partition part 37 into a first space 35 to which the refrigerant is made to flow in through a refrigerant inlet and the second space 36 to the heat exchange pipes 16 are led. The partition part 37 includes one pair comprising two erected parts 43 protruded upwardly and provided at an interval in the ventilating direction. A third space 44 separated from the first space 35 and leading to the second space 36 is formed between the two erected parts 43 of the partition part 37.
