PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a positioning tool capable of centering two pipes with high accuracy even when there is variation in the shapes of flanges. SOLUTION: The positioning tool U for centering two pipes 20, 30 to be flange-coupled with each other includes a pair of positioning members 50R, 50L facing each other with flanges 25, 35 of the two pipes 20, 30 held therebetween, V-shaped guide parts 52R, 52L provided on inner walls of the pair of positioning members 50R, 50L, and a fastening part 90 for fastening the pair of positioning members 50R, 50L in the direction for reducing the distance therebetween. When the pair of positioning members 50R, 50L are fastened by the fastening part 90 while holding the flanges 25, 35 of the two pipes 20, 30 held therebetween, the two V-shaped guide parts 52R, 52L formed on the pair of positioning members 50R, 50L hold outer circumferential surfaces 25A, 35A of the flanges 25, 35 of the two pipes 20, 30 from both sides to center the two pipes 20, 30.
