PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sample rack providing satisfactory work efficiency in its detachment and having high specimen cooling capacity. SOLUTION: This sample rack 1 is loaded with a specimen hold container 6 containing specimen liquid and cooled by means of a cooler 8, and includes: a storage 40 with the specimen hold container 6 stored therein; and a groove 11 provided at a slant on a bottom face of the storage 40. With the bottom face of the storage 40 communicated with the groove 11, dew condensation water introduced into the groove 11 is discharged via an opening 12 provided in a side face of the sample rack 1, to the exterior of the sample rack 1.
