The present disclosure relates to a method and device for operating a wind power plant (WPP), in particular a method and device for startup of wind turbines in a WPP. A method for start-up of wind turbines of a wind power plant comprising a grid interface for connecting the wind power plant to a grid, and a first set of wind turbines and a second set of wind turbines connected to the grid interface, wherein the wind power plant comprising an energy storage is disclosed, the method comprising starting the first set of wind turbines by supplying power from the energy storage to the first set of wind turbines, charging the energy storage with energy produced by the first set of wind turbines, and starting the second set of wind turbines by supplying power from the energy storage to the second set of wind turbines. |
