The device has a holder (3) provided for fixing multiple exhaust gas sensors i.e. lambda sensors (1), where a testing gas stream is supplied to the holder for verifying the sensors. The testing gas stream is divided into partial gas streams within the holder. The partial gas streams are guided over flow cross sections at the exhaust gas sensors, which are measured such that pre-determined flow speed exists at the sensors. An influencing unit is provided for adjusting pre-determined speed of stream at the sensors by influencing a condition of the stream.
