<p>A liquid crystal display device (100) is provided with a liquid crystal panel (12), a back light (14), a first case (16), and a second case (18). The back light (14) is arranged to face the back surface of the liquid crystal panel (12). The first case (16) supports the liquid crystal panel (12) and has a peripheral edge (22) which extends around the liquid crystal panel (12). The second case (18) has a peripheral edge (24) which overlaps with the inner side of the peripheral edge (22) of the first case, and the back light (14) is configured in the second case (18). The peripheral edge (24) of the second case (18) is formed with an attachment hole (26). An attachment piece (28) which is joined to and overlaps with the inner side of the peripheral edge (24) of the second case (18) via the attachment hole (26) on the peripheral edge (24) of the second case is disposed on the peripheral edge (22) of the first case (16).</p> |
