PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pouch container of the bottom gusset type, which can be bag-manufactured without adding any separate process to a bag-manufacturing process of a pouch container of the general bottom gusset type, and ensures excellent self-standing stability. SOLUTION: A spout 20 is attached to a container body 10 formed in a bag. The container body 10 includes a pair of front and back exterior sheets 11, and a gusset sheet 12 which is folded inwardly from the lower end of both exterior sheets 11 to form a bottom gusset part. The inner surface of the gusset sheet 12 is heat-sealed to the inner surface of a lower peripheral edge of each exterior sheet 11, and formed in a bag by heat-sealing the inner surfaces of the peripheral edge part above the gusset sheet 12 in each exterior sheet 11 to each other. The gusset sheet 12 has a lower terminal sheet part ns in which lower edges on the front and back sides are expanded downwardly from the lower edge of each exterior sheet 11, and the lower terminal seal part ns is curled outwardly.
