PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten a period of time for discovering a receivable affiliate station to shorten viewing interruption time of a program. SOLUTION: The digital broadcast receiving device includes: an affiliate station memory 111 which stores affiliate station information in which a broadcasting station is associated with information for specifying the affiliate station of the broadcasting station, and receiving service areas where the affiliate station performs broadcasting; a switching history memory 112 which stores switching history information in which, for every receiving service area, information for specifying other receiving service areas switched from the receiving service area is associated, when a received signal of the program under viewing is not at a receivable state at present, a channel selection control unit 123 specifies other receiving service areas switched from the receiving service area where the broadcasting station which broadcasts the program under viewing performs the broadcast from the switching history information, and specifies the affiliate station of the broadcasting station which broadcasts the program under viewing, and is in other specified receiving service areas from the affiliate station information to select the specified affiliate station.
