USER CONFIRMATION DEVICE AND METHOD, AND PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance accuracy of user confirmation without impairing convenience of a user.

SOLUTION: A user confirmation device includes: an extraction means extracting user agent information set in an HTTP (HyperText Transfer Protocol) header from a packet received from a terminal device; an information management means making a storage means store the user agent information extracted from the packet received from the terminal device operated by each user by the extraction means associatively with user identification information of each user; and a decision means collating the user agent information extracted from the packet received from an optional terminal device by the extraction means with the user agent information stored in the storage means associatively with the user identification information of the user operating the optional terminal device, and deciding whether the user agent information corresponds to the user agent information stored in the storage means to decide whether the user operating the optional terminal device is a valid user.
