PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a notification device or the like which allows easily and plurally simultaneous notification tests only with an installation site of the notification device without requiring facilities for tests and wiring works of a telephone line or the like. SOLUTION: The notification device is provided with: a means for changing an operation mode from a normal mode to an inspection mode based on an operation of a user; a means for receiving an incoming call from a telephone terminal to register a telephone number as an originator of the telephone terminal in a storage part as a notification destination telephone number for tests; and a means for performing a telephone call to the notification destination telephone number for tests registered in the storage part to perform the notification, when a trigger of notification is detected in the inspection mode.
