摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase a speed of an electron beam to increase the interaction between the electron beam and an electric field, thereby increasing the operation efficiency of a klystron device. SOLUTION: The klystron device 1 includes an electron gun 10, a drift portion 20, a collector 40 and a power supply device 50. A passage 21 where the electron beam 2 emitted from the electron gun 10 passes is formed in the drift portion 20. The drift portion 20 includes an input cavity portion 22 inputting a high frequency signal, a resonance cavity portion 26 interacting with the electron beam 2 to amplify the high frequency signal, and an output cavity portion 30 outputting the amplified high frequency signal. The collector 40 collects the electron beam 2 passing through the drift portion 20. The power supply device 50 applies voltages to the output cavity portion 30 and the collector 40 mutually insulated such that the potential of the output cavity portion 30 is set higher than that of the collector 40.
