PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compound which has efficacy excellent in weed control. SOLUTION: An iso-oxazoline compound is shown by formula (I). In the formula, R<SP>1</SP>, R<SP>2</SP>, R<SP>3</SP>, R<SP>4</SP>, R<SP>5</SP>and R<SP>6</SP>each independently denotes a 1-3C chain type hydrocarbon group which may be substituted by a hydrogen atom or halogen atom, m denotes 0 or 1, n denotes 0, 1, or 2, E represents a 1-3C chain type hydrocarbon group which may be substituted by a halogen atom, X denotes a carbon ring group whose atomic number for composing ring is 3 to 14, a heterocyclic group whose atomic number for composing ring is 3 to 14, a 1-20C chain type hydrocarbon group, or a group shown by -CO-R<SP>7</SP>, and Z represents a carbon ring group whose atomic number for composing ring is 3 to 14 or a heterocyclic group whose atomic number for composing ring is 3 to 14.
